Our Philosophy
I am a relationship therapist between you and the land you steward.
Why “More Life”?
A healthy relationship between a person and the land they tend means the natural systems are flourishing. It means that humans and plants are engaging in the way they know best: to help each other grow and prosper.
More Life Landscaping was born out of the philosophy that we are deeply entwined with our ecosystems, even when we need to do things like weeding, mowing, and mulching. By tending an outdoor space that you feel comfortable in, you’re welcoming in the possibility of nature doing some of the work for you. When we welcome more life into our gardens and yards, we welcome in a greater sense of enjoyment and connection.
About the Landscaper
Hi, I’m Zachary; landscaper, plant enthusiast, herbalist, and father of 3. I’m the hands and heart of More Life Landscaping. Some of my first memories are of establishing a connection with the land around me. You could always find me in the garden, in the hills, or in a tree, seeking ways to make my ecosystem a more functional and more beautiful place.
Outside of landscaping, my passions are environmental wellness, food sovereignty, foraging, and writing. You can find me most days covered in earth, playing with my kids, and listening to podcasts.
It’s an honor to get the opportunity to serve you, and help make the land you love even more lovely!
